The campaign lists 367 vehicles across those models; owners are advised not to drive or charge until dealers replace the battery, and to park outside. Recall 22V-944 covers certain 2022-2023 iX xDrive40, xDrive50, and M60 vehicles (and other BMW EVs): high-voltage battery ECU software may not detect a thermal event (14,086 vehicles); dealers update the software. Recall 23V-295 covers certain 2022-2024 iX xDrive50 vehicles (and certain i4 models) for an improperly secured high-voltage battery cell-monitoring circuit (31 vehicles).
