Each year is complaints filed in that year’s first 3 years on the road, divided by however many of those years have passed. A model year younger than 3 years is too early to compare, so it is left out of the years named as having the fewest or the most complaints. Recalls are a separate count. The numbers are for the US-market Nissan Rogue. How we count.

Safety recall 15V-032 covers certain 2008-2013 Rogues and 2014 Rogue Select vehicles: snow, water, and salt can seep through the driver-side carpet to a kick-panel harness connector and short, raising fire risk; dealers inspect the connector and install a waterproof seal or a new connector and seal as needed. The campaign unit total covers those model years together, not 2012-2013 alone.

Safety recall 16V-219 covers certain 2014-2016 Rogues whose rear liftgate support stays may corrode and break off; dealers replace the stays. Safety recall 22V-024 covers certain 2014-2016 Rogues whose under-dash harness connectors can corrode from driver-footwell water and salt, with fire risk among other electrical faults; dealers replace the connectors and apply grease. Safety recall 17V-663 covers certain 2016-2017 Rogues whose rear-seat lower frame recliner welds may be improper (FMVSS 207/210); dealers inspect and replace defective frames. Safety recall 23V-093 covers certain 2014-2020 Rogues (and Rogue Sport) with a jackknife ignition key that can fold while driving and shut the vehicle off; dealers insert a spacer in the key.

Safety recall 25V-437 covers certain 2021-2024 Rogues among other Nissan/Infiniti models with VC-Turbo engines whose engine bearings may have manufacturing defects leading to engine failure; dealers reprogram the ECM. Safety recall 26V-080 covers certain 2023-2025 Rogues with 1.5L VC-Turbo engines where oil breakdown from heat can seize bearings; dealers reprogram the ECM and inspect for debris as stated in the campaign.
