Known issues for this generation
Recall 14V-054 covers certain 2012-2013 RX 350 vehicles (with 2012-2013 Toyota Tacoma and 2012 RAV4) whose brake actuator contains an electrical component that may develop increased resistance, illuminating the Vehicle Stability Control, Antilock Brake System, and Traction Control warning lights; those systems could then become inoperative and reduce directional control assistance. Dealers update the Skid Control electronic control unit software free of charge. Recall 14V-576 covers certain 2015 RX 350 vehicles (with 2014 Toyota Avalon, Camry, Sienna, and Highlander) where fuel may leak from one of the fuel delivery pipes in the engine compartment, which increases the risk of a fire in the presence of an ignition source; dealers replace any suspect fuel delivery pipes.

Known issues for this generation
Recall 18V-085 covers certain 2016 RX 350 and RX 450h vehicles, and also 2015-2016 Lexus NX and 2016 Toyota Prius vehicles, in which the air bag pressure sensors and/or the acceleration sensors may fail, so that the side/curtain shield air bags and/or the front air bags may not deploy in a crash; dealers replace the sensors as necessary based on their serial numbers. Recall 23V-865 covers certain 2020-2021 RX 350 and RX 450h vehicles (among many other Toyota and Lexus models) where a short circuit may develop in the Occupant Classification System sensor, preventing the front passenger air bag from deploying; dealers inspect and replace the sensor as necessary. Recall 20V-012 and its expansion 20V-682 cover certain 2017-2020 RX 350 and 2018-2020 RX 350L vehicles, among many other Toyota and Lexus models, where the low-pressure fuel pump inside the fuel tank may fail and stall the engine while driving; dealers replace the fuel pump, with 20V-682 specifying an improved assembly. Separately, Lexus Special Service Campaign 19LC05 addresses the engine oil cooler pipe on certain 2016-2019 RX 450h vehicles.

Recall 26V-598 covers certain 2026 RX 350, RX 350 Hybrid, and RX 500 Hybrid vehicles (among other Toyota and Lexus models) where front steering knuckles may crack and break from a manufacturing error, which can cause loss of steering control; dealers inspect and replace the knuckles as necessary. Recall 25V-059 covers certain 2024-2025 RX 350, RX 350 Hybrid, and RX 500 Hybrid vehicles (among other models) where second-row center seat belt webbing may be damaged; dealers inspect and replace the belt assembly if needed.
